Almond Milk (homemade almond milk) is a natural dairy-free milk, which makes it suitable for vegans, as well as people with a dairy allergy or lactose intolerance
- 1 cup Almond
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional
Soak almond in water overnight. Drain the almond from the water used in soaking it, then rinse them thoroughly under cool running water.
Add soaked almonds, water, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend for 2 minutes or until the almonds are finely ground.
Pour the blended mixture into a cheesecloth to extract the milk.
Pour the extracted almond milk into a jar and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
