How To Make Homemade Cashew Milk

Cashew milk is loaded with a lot of nutrients. It contains healthy fats, proteins, and a variety of vitamins and minerals, which may help boost heart health.

  • Glass Jar with Lid

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 3 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup or date syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Soak cashews in water for 2 hours or overnight, drain and rinse in cold running water.
  • Add cashew to the blender along with water, vanilla extract, and your choice of sweetener (if using).
  • Blend until creamy and smooth, this should take about 3-4 minutes
  • Serve immediately or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

Homemade cashew milk lasts for about 2-3 days in the fridge but I love to consume the milk immediately. It is advisable to make the quantity you can use up immediately.
